Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.

Tiger Bay Ramblers welcomes everyone on its walks and in January this year we launched a new walking and hiking group for younger people in their 20s-30s based in South Wales. If you are under 40 years of age and looking to have fun, get fit, and meet a welcoming bunch of people, this will be an ideal group for you!
We round off 2025 with a short easy seasonal stroll from Roath Park Lake, through Roath Park Wild Gardens, into Nant Fawr Woodlands, before arriving at Lisvane and Llanishen reservoir. We will visit the cafe and visitor centre for some festive refreshments, before completing our circuit around the reservoir and retracing our steps back to Roath Park Lake.
Feel free to dig out your Christmas Jumpers and get into the festive spirit, as this may be our last 20s-30s walk before Christmas!
Please note - walkers with dogs will not be able to join us on this walk; the route through the reservoir is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and dogs are not permitted on the paths we will be using through the site.
The walk will take place on pavements and paths which may be wet and muddy in places. Attendee's should come prepared for the weather on the day, and may wish to bring drink and snacks for rest breaks during the walk.
We will meet outside the Terra Nova cafe in Roath Park Lake, next to the Rotary Club Wishing Well.
