Join us once again, on our 3P's walk.
As promised, this time there's NO castle visit or rock scrambling.
Starting at the abandoned village of Pengarnddu, we'll walk above the villages of Pantyscallog and Pontsticill following the disused tram track to the Tywnau Gwynion Limestone Quarry. Where we'll have our Coffee stop.
Gradually descending over tufty grass, until we reach Pontsticilll.
Where we have road walking for half a mile, leading to Morlais Quarry. We'll have our lunch stop here.
Then its on to Pantyscallog for some added extras, eventually returning to our start point.
This walk was renamed the 'WOW' walk, by a very experienced and long standing member of our group, the first time we led it, due to the fantastic views of the local area as well as the distant view of the Brecon Beacons.
