This is a leisurely 6 mile walk around Heartwood Forest near Sandridge, Herts with a lunch/snack stop at the Elephant and Castle Pub on route. It passes through open farmland and woodland and we think a proper Dutch Barn at one of the farms.
Sections may be muddy so sturdy footwear required. We are able to sit in the garden of the pub to have a snack which you can bring or buy at the pub. Parking is at the extensive car park at Heartwood Forest so we'll meet at the nearest post code - AL4 9DQ.
The Heartwood Forest Car park its located on the outskirts of Sandridge village. It's a large car park so please aim for the post code given.
