Hello from Finchley & Hornsey!
We’re a friendly Ramblers group based in North London. Our aim is to help everyone enjoy the delights and benefits of walking. We meet every week for a country walk and would love you to join us.
Hertfordshire is close by, so we walk all over the county and in the Chilterns, as well as in and around London. We also arrange holidays, summer and winter solstice walks with a bring-and-share picnic, as well as a Christmas walk and lunch.
If you live in North London or would like to make it your base for walking, join the Ramblers now – and choose us as your group. Not only will you have good walking, you’ll also be helping the Ramblers to keep footpaths open and protect the countryside for all to enjoy.

Chichester Walking Holiday - This is now fully booked: Tuesday 23 April - Bus 52 or 53 from Chichester to West Wittering, walk to Chichester Marina for bus back into the City, or continue into Chichester. 10.5 miles or shorter option finishing at West Itchenor - 6.6 miles Wednesday 24 April - Bus 60 from Chichester to Binderton House, 10 mile walk on Chichester Downs to Hainaker for bus 55 back into the City. Options: leave walk after 3 miles at West Dean to visit the Weald and Downland Living Museum (return by bus 60), or shorter 6 mile route. Thursday 25 April - Bus 700 from Chichester to Southbourne. Walk to Bosham - 6 miles for return bus to City, or continue on to Fishbourne - 9.5 miles for return bus or train. Alternatively walk back into town. Packed Lunch required on all days. Suitable footwear and clothing according to weather conditions. A full itinerary will be given to those we know are joining us.
