We are the Wellingborough Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A gentle undulating walk in the North of the county via Winwick, Elkington and Clay Coton.
A mixture of quiet country roads, wide canal towpaths, field paths, bridleways and byways. Only 2 stiles, 1 ploughed field to circumnavigate and livestock in fields (as well as wind turbines!) so no dogs thankyou. We will visit the Church of St Michael & All Angel, Winwick to view the West window ( by Jane Campbell 2003). The Millennium window generates movement in a 2-dimensional art form. Good views of Honey Hill and the A14!
