We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A linear and level walk along paved and unpaved paths, including some woodland and then returning to the start point by train. There are a few “kissing gates”. The walk ends at St Albans Abbey station. Start from Radlett Road car park. There are public toilets in Park Street. A pub visit after the walk is possible as is a visit to the Cathedral. Return to Watford via the Abbey Flyer which leaves once an hour. Get off at Watford North and walk (approx. 1 Mile) back to the car park. The finish time at the station will be approximately 3pm but walkers need to include the train times for return to the car park.

Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
