Overview

A circular route from Abermule taking in a Church on one side of the Severn Valley and a Castle on the other. Starting from Abermule Community Centre, the route will take paths across fields up to Llanmerewig Church and then descend to the canal and hence up to Dolforwyn Castle (another steep but shortish path) before returning by paths to the start. Despite the two short climbs the total ascent is only about 900 feet.

This is a substitute plan, necessary because of the extent of the mud on the originally planned route.
