Overview

A moderate walk of a little over 7 miles from Hangman's Stone, south across the Churn valley to Pancake Hill on the outskirts of Chedworth, returning via the hamlet of Yanworth.

The walk will be on a mixture of roads, tracks and field paths (a little muddy in places) and includes some moderate hills (nothing too steep!).  There will be coffee and picnic lunch stops (although there is the option to return to vehicles for a later lunch if very cold or wet).   Refreshments are available in nearby Northleach, only a short drive away. 

If anyone wants a bit more exercise, there will be an optional extra walk after we return to the start - a two and a half mile figure of eight walk through the hamlet of Hampnett.
