Overview

A lovely circular walk with plenty of historic interest and some fine views over the Shropshire hills. The walk is graded at moderate as it is mostly over gently undulating fields and quiet lanes, but there is one short but steep climb. Poles are recommended.

Don't forget food, drink and clothing for all weathers, this is Easter Sunday after all!

As there are no toilets available it might be worth allowing time to stop at the Shell shop and fuel station on the left at the first island along Thieves Lane. The facilities are inside the shop and are clearly marked as "Services" on the signpost.
