Overview

It will be a short urban circuit, exact route to be decided but likely taking in some walkways along the River Irwell and into Salford. No muddy paths expected, dress for the weather. We are likely to make an optional stop at a bar or pub when we are nearly back in the City Centre.

This walk is best enjoyed if you have been along earlier in the day to the Annual General Meeting of the Greater Manchester and High Peak Ramblers at 11.00 in the Cross Street Chapel. All Ramblers members are welcome to attend that meeting to hear updates on local activities. Tea, coffee (and maybe a biscuit) will be provided.
