Afternoon - Precipice Walk (Combine with morning walk for 6 mile figure-of-eight)

PLEASE CONTACT LEADER TO CONFIRM START TIME. Combine this walk with this morning’s Foel Offrwm circuit for a 6 mile figure-of eight on the Nannau Estate near Llanfachreth. The long-established “Precipice Walk” follows a fairly level path high on a hillside and offers views to the Mawddach Estuary and across some of Snowdonia’s most striking mountain ranges. To the north stands Snowdon and the Moelwynion and to the west the Rhinogydd, with Cadair Idris while the Aran and Arenig mountains can be seen towards the south and east. We return to the start on an attractive lakeside path. Time allowing, we plan to visit Dolgellau for refreshments after the walk.
