Overview

Starting from The Square in Aldbourne we join the Aldbourne Circular Route to reach the outskirts of Upper Upham passing The Giant's Grave and ancient field systems on the way before visiting the remains of the medieval village of Snap. The route then joins the Ridgeway before dropping down through copses and woods to Oak Stagger from where we make our back along field paths, tracks and by-ways passing the site of a Roman Building on the way. There should be some lovely views (it was foggy when recce'd!) and there is only one stile which is in good condition.
