We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts in the Square in Aldbourne (made famous by Doctor Who activities) where we join the Aldbourne circular route. The route passes the Giant's Grave on the way to Upper Upham and then walks by the medieval village of Snap. Joining the Ridgeway the route drops down though copses and woods to Liddington castle . It then crosses the main Swindon road and returns to Aldbourne via Sugar Hill. Assuming the weather is kind to us there are spectacular views of the Berkshire and Wiltshire Countryside.
