Across fields and tracks to outskirts of Knightwick where we join the Worcester Way to Crews Hill - which has historical roots in a path established in 1989. It is known for its ancient woodlands and is part of the larger Suckley Hills section. Then we join Blackhouse Woods, a species rich woodland and a Local Wildlife Site. This wooded path takes us to Longley Green from where we wend our way back to Alfrick via fields, the Geopark Way and Leigh brook.
Meet at Alfrick Village Hall/Store where there is free parking, a cafe and a toilet. If the main car park is busy please park at the back of the village hall which is just off the main car park (postcode WR6 5HJ).
The walk is likely to end at approx 2.15pm depending on the conditions on the day. Please bring mid morning snack and packed lunch.
Walking poles may be useful.
