Overview

This 10 mile "figure of 8" circular from the village of Alstonefield will take us through the picturesque Wolfscote and Biggin Dales where we will pass by Limestone screes, many weirs and caves. We might also get to see the resident Grey Heron. The walk is a 10 mile leisurely / moderate trail, any incline encountered is gentle and the overall elevation low. There are only a few stiles , mainly swing gates which makes this a particularly "Dog friendly" walk although some areas have livestock and dogs will need to be on a lead then.
