From the old drovers' village of Llandegla this 7-mile walk (local grade C) explores the tree-topped Alyn Valley and the open slopes of the southern Clwydian Hills, with superb views. The walk takes in the remains of a 12th century motte and bailey castle and a holy well.
From "Walks on the Clwdian Hills" by David Berry.
Note that since the programme booklet was printed the original leader for this walk has had to withdraw for medical reasons.
Pat has kindly agreed to lead in his place.
Bring a packed lunch.
