From Dalmellington playing fields car park. A lollipop walk following tracks and paths to Loch Doon via Ness Glen. Returning on paths over the Craigs of Ness to rejoin the outward track. Possible opportunity to see the Loch Doon ospreys and visit the Round House cafe at Loch Doon dam.
