Overview

Commencing from Amberley Station car park, the walk progresses up Amberley Mount on SDW to Rackham Hill, down to Burpham High Barn and then to The George in Burpham village for a lunch stop.  There are benches in the church grounds and also by the cricket pavilion for eating picnic lunch.  The return leg goes past Peppering Farm and Peppering High Barn and back up on the Downs to The Burgh and returns to Amberley Station along Stoke Road.  Please bring any food and drink requirements.

Recce on 14/2:  Some mud and puddles will be encountered, but the route mainly uses paths/lanes which are of a hard surface.  On a clear day the views are wonderful.  Some spring flowers are making an early appearance.
