Overview

We will explore a completely new area for Met Walkers traversing the beautiful heaths and nature reserves south of Midhurst. Expect remote isolated rolling heathland with great views. Finish in the historic town of Midhurst.

Bring a packed lunch as there will be no shops or pubs until the end of the walk.

Travel: Take 09:05 from London Victoria (09:12 Clapham Jn, 09:23 East Croydon), arr. 10:28 Amberley.

At the end of the walk, there will be a bus from Midhurst either to Chichester or Haslemere, with the preferred option being Haslemere with its quicker connections to London.

Buy a return to Havant if returning on the train from Haslemere; or a return to Chichester if returning from Chichester.
