Leisurely circular walk from Old Amersham over rolling hills to Chalfont St Giles for a picnic/pub lunch, and back along the banks of the River Misbourne to Amersham Station.
Message from the leader, Andrew M: "I have learnt today that there will be no trains between Marylebone Station and Amersham next Saturday because of engineering work. The alternative therefore is to take the 10.04 from Baker Street ( probably from platform 2) on the Metropolitan Line to Amersham arriving at 10.54. Baker Street Station is a bit of a maze so please allow enough time to decipher and be sure to take the Amersham train and not the Uxbridge train."
