We are the Uttlesford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Ampersand All Day Walk (almost a figure of eight) from Pearce's Farm Shop located on the southbound side of A10 near Braughing SG9 9ND, with the option of a reducing it to a 6-mile half-day walk (see below). NB: In the event of bad weather the route will be revised and shortened.
The morning walk is seven miles to the Axe and Compasses PH Braughing, SG11 2QR for lunch but six if you return to the Farm Shop (options: shop, go home, drive to pub, eat at Pearce's - booking advised). There is a shorter four mile afternoon circuit from Braughing after lunch returning to Pearce's before they shut.

Advisory - the A10 is a fast dual carriageway, the planned walk crosses it twice.
