We are the Carmarthen & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from the main car park in Amroth, the route will take the Knights Way towards Colby Woods, making a continual ascent until we reach fine views across fields towards the sea. Descending back into the woods we will pass by Amroth Church and Eastlake Farm before making our final descent through Factory Wood towards the coastal path at Amroth.
We will be using mainly good paths but some parts may be slippery, wet and muddy underfoot if it has been raining. Please note we will be walking on a public footpath through a dairy farm.
There are cafes in Amroth where walkers may wish to have some refreshment before returning to Carmarthen.
Public toilets are available in Amroth and National Trust toilets are available near the car park in Colby Woods.
We will be car sharing from Carmarthen, please be prepared to contribute £3.50 towards car costs to the driver.
