A walk starting just South of Freshwater West Beach, crossing the beach & then circumnavigating the Angle Penisular, before returning via Rocket Cart House to Freshwater West & the car park. A walk full of history, geology, wild life & stunning scenery
There are toilets in about half a kilometer of the start at the back of the Freshwater West. There is a cafe & more toilets in West Angle Bay just over half way around the route. As we approach the village of Angle there is also the Old Point Pub, but it is only open to 5pm ish & only serves food till 3pm. Opening times are from their website.
Drive West from the village of Castlemartin until you start to descend to Freshwater West Beach. Just past the red flag marking the end of the military firing range & before the National Trust sign for Freshwater West is a car park for a number of cars. Though car sharing is advised.
