Overview

A moderate 10.2 mile circular walk primarily along country footpaths and some quiet roads, through the beautiful Essex parishes of Great Braxted and Little Braxted (hence the Great Little Walk title).

No stiles on the route but we are crossing farmland so there is likely to be some mud.

We will be parking in one of our member’s farm yard at Sewell’s Farm, Little Braxted, opposite Braxted Bakery.

Lunch will be at the Green Man pub in Little Braxted. And those who like a good breakfast may wish to visit the Braxted Bakery before the walk. Or maybe stop for tea and cake after the walk.

Park in Sewell’s Farm yard from 9:45am (if visiting Braxted Bakery for breakfast please park in the bakery car park). The walk leader will arrive early to guide you to the parking as need be.
