We set out from Singleton over Levin Down, then up to the SDW through Charlton Forest. Turning west we stay on the SDW till Cocking Down, with a coffee stop at the Cadence Cafe. We descend into the woods then cross the A286 towards Nightingale Woods on access paths. Crossing back at Drovers we then follow more access paths until we reach the disused railway at Singleton and a short walk to the cars. Picnic lunch.
This is a hilly walk and paths may be muddy/slippery.
