A 7.8mile circular walk around the north Warwickshire village of Fillongley along fields, lanes, byways, bridleways and footpaths. Expect a mixture of seasonal mud and slight overgrowth, also kissing gates in good condition and stiles that have seen better days.
From the start, this walk incorporates a 4.8 mile loop returning to the start that may suit those preferring a shorter walk, your leader will announce the time and place where such walkers must leave the rest of the group and self-guide themselves along a clearly defined B road with a safe footway or pavement all the way back to Fillongley. This self-guided portion is just 0.8 miles.
The Manor House pub, Fillongley at the walk start/finish point is expected to be open.
The Weaver's Arms Pub, Wood End located at the point where long and short walkers separate is also expected to be open.
