We are the South Dorset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Lyscombe car park we head over towards Nettlecombe Tout via Lyscombe Hill and Sheeplands Copse, then on to the Dorset Gap with its panoramic views (hopefully!). We continue on the Wessex Ridgeway to Breach Wood, then on to Lower Ansty, Bingham's Melcombe and Melcombe Bingham. Returning via Higher Melcombe, Hog Hill and the iconic Lyscombe Chapel. Lovely, hilly countryside with beautiful wild flowers. Moderate inclines (not steep or strenuous) and a reasonably brisk pace.
Picnic lunch.
No dogs.
