A walk with good paths, well used! There is a steep climb at the start but once up there are no really steep slopes to tackle. There is a steady uphill stretch coming out of Studland, then it is flat along the top, followed by steep steps down from the obelisk, most of which are in good condition. Then another steady climb up to the top of the ridge, then a flat grassy open path with good views all around, before a gradual descent back into Corfe Castle. Let us hope for some good visibility.
