The walk starts from the Wash near Chapel and goes around (not up) South Head returning to the Wash.
We normally stop for a drink after about an hour's walking and then for lunch at about 12.30 so please bring along a hot or cold drink and a packed lunch.

From Hayfield to Chapel at bottom of hill turn left onto Hayfield Road then left again at railway bridge signed Wash, under the next bridge and right. Park on the left. Those going direct to the start please let the leader know in case of any late changes
