We are the Ipswich and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Heading south from the Meare, joining the Suffolk Coast Path, over the old railway line, past the Red House to the golf club and turning towards the TV tower at Clover Lea. Then joining the Sandlings Walk back over North Warren and back to the Meare. A further 1.3 miles can be added by going up to Shellpit Cottages and returning over Thorpeness Common.
A mixture of beach, woodland, golf course and arable on good tracks and paths.
The shorter walk is 6.1 miles, the longer 7.4 miles finishing 13.30
