Overview

The walk passes up through Georgetown to follow a forestry footpath to St James Reservoir. It then heads back down, via the road, to Troedrhiwgwair and a path down to the Sirhowy River. It continues, mainly on the level, with a short climb to return via Bedwellty Park.
