Pontypool Ramblers group was formed in 1967 and is now a flourishing and friendly group in South Wales. The areas we include in our walks programme vary from the eastern side of the Brecon Beacons National Park, to the South Wales Valleys and also to the Wye Valley. We usually organise a walk every weekend and a midweek walk every other week. We also run well-supported social events, in local venues, often with guest speakers, and walking breaks in popular walking areas in other parts of the UK.
