We are the Southwold (Yate) Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk around Winterbourne taking in some of the Frome Valley walkway.
Unfortunately due to the adverse weather conditions some of the walkway is impassable but alternatives have ben found. There may be more lane walking and pavements than expected. Conditions are still muddy and if you use poles these are advised.
There are some 7 styles, no very steep hills but some inclines and one hill because of the alternative route required.
Meet at 10 for 10:15 start
Park at Whiteshill Common Hambrook near Whiteshill church on the B4058. If the layby is full there is parking around the common or by the school as they will be on holiday.
