Overview

We start the walk from the Carington Arms in the pretty village of Ashby Folville and join the Leicestershire Round to cross mostly pasture land to Thorpe Satchville.  We'll then continue on to the village of Twyford and rejoin the Leicestershire Round back to Ashby Folville.

There are a few hills on the walk but the advantage of this is that you do get some beautiful views.

Nearly all of the walk is on pastureland full of sheep and lambs.

There are quite a number of stiles on the walk (possibly 20).  Some of them are not in very good repair so please take care when climbing over them.
