A mainly flat circular walk around the west and north of Ashley Green. Walking is almost entirely on good wide footpaths, taking in open fields, lanes, some fantastic woodland and a few enclosed horse paddocks.
There are some terrific valley views out across to Bellingdon, plus the fantastic Chiltern countryside to enjoy throughout the walk. Only two short ascents on the 5.8 mile route and no stiles to worry about.
As much of the walk is in the open, don't forget to bring some sun protection and some refreshments with you. We will have a short stop at about 3 miles.
Lunch will be at the King Charles pub off the A416 just outside of Ashley Green on the road back towards Chesham. Website link below. Pre-orders will be taken on the day, before the start of the walk.
Meet at the Ashley Green Memorial Hall Car Park. This is a free car park. If full you can park along the adjacent road.
