Overview

A pleasant walk starting at the Ashridge visitor centre at the end of Monument Drive. We'll head down to Aldbury, across to Tring Station, along a stretch of the Grand Union Canal, up to Aldbury Nowers and Pitstone Hill - with views across the Vale of Aylesbury - and then back to Ashridge along Dunscombe Terrace.

We won't be stopping for lunch but at the end of the walk there's the NT cafe with outdoor seating for coffee and cake/lunch. Toilets are available at the visitor centre. Bring walking poles if you use them.
