This is a 6.5 miles circular walk at moderate / Leisurely pace with some ups and downs through fields and woodlands. We walk along the Chiltern Way until it meets the Hertfordshire way which we follow to Commonwood mainly in beautiful woods and then on to lovely village of Sarratt where we will stop for our picnic lunch on the village green. Please bring food and drink. Shortly after lunch we join the Chiltern Way which takes us back to Flaunden mainly through fields. There are 6 stiles. Walking boots are recommended and you may want to consider walking poles for the couple of uphill sections if you usually use them.
Well behaved dogs are allowed but may need to be on leads in some sections.
At the end of the walk Flaunden Church will be serving refreshments. Please bring cash for tea or Coffee and cake.
