We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.
This is a pretty country walk starting from the village of Aspenden. En route to Cherry Green we will pass Button Snap, associated with the 18th century writer and philosopher Charles Lamb. On the return journey we will travel along the old Roman Road back to Aspenden where all are welcome to enjoy a drink at the Fox Inn.
This is a moderate pace walk. We want everyone to enjoy our walks, if you have any concerns about the pace please speak to the walk leader.

Starting outside the Fox Inn, Aspenden, SG9 9PD. Please park considerately around the village.
