Overview

Join us for a dog friendly countryside walk, including Claverton Down, Rainbow Woods, Smallcombe, Riches Orchard, the Sham Castle, Bathwick Woods, Bathampton Down and splendid views of Bath's skyline.

Good paths, some ups and downs, mostly with steps. We avoid going through Bathampton Woods, as that section can get very muddy.

Walking boots advisable, and you may find walking poles useful.

Bring a drink, and a light picnic lunch, to enjoy on short stops during the walk.

Maybe join us for refreshments and/or food afterwards in the Lime Tree Refectory, which is open to the public.
