A walk taking in the villages along the River Itchen. Starting from Avingdon Car Park we will walk past the Avington Park Golf Course and onto Ovington and Itchen Stoke. Continuing on, we will make our way to Itchen Abbas, Martyr Worthy and Easton, then returning back to Avington.
Bring a drink and snack/lunch as required.
Some areas may be muddy and there are some stiles. Please wear sturdy footwear.
Alton Sports Centre Lower Car Park by Alton Skate Park, Jubilee Playing Field, Chawton Park Road, Alton or in the upper overflow car park.
Avington Country Park Car Park, Avington Park Lane, Avington, Winchester. From A31 follow the signs for Avington. Drive down Avington Road and take a left turn into Avington Park Lane. There is a car park on the right just after the cattle grid. If you don't know the area, it is recommended to use What3words if available. Leader will be at meet point.
