This is a repeat of the walk last September, which had to be rescheduled at the last minute.
A big day on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, as we walk the 10 miles from Turnberry Golf Course via the harbour at Maidens and the grounds of Culzean Castle to finish at the picturesque village of Dunure. The walk is on beach, rocky foreshore, tracks, field paths and pavements, with one steady climb of approximately 10 minutes.
Priority will be given to those who were unable to come on the original walk. If spaces are still available one week before the walk, these will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis
If you wish to come on the walk you must contact the leader by email, text or phone call but no more than 2 weeks in advance and provide a contact number in case arrangements change.
Please notify the leader if you wish to meet at the walk start point or catch the train/bus further on route.
Walkers should not come if they have any covid symptoms.
Due to potential public transport constraints, this walk is strictly limited to 15 walkers plus the leader.
Note that a constant steady pace will be required in order to meet the 5.50 bus from Dunure back to Ayr.
