Overview

Good tracks, grassy paths and quiet lanes. Leaving the pretty village of Barbon, we make our way up towards Barbon Manor before turning off to Barbondale following the beck to Blindbeck Bridge. We then climb up to Hoggs Hill passing the nearby Bullpot Caving Centre.  After following a quiet lane for a short while, we climb up to Brownthwaite Pike and make our way down towards Casterton , turning right into the Fellfoot Road track. Turning right along another quiet lane, we make our way back to Barbon. Good views all the way.
