Overview

The route heads up on to the moor to Upper Barden Reservoir, across the dam and follows the beck back down to Lower Barden Reservoir – all the while passing through some of Bolton Abbey Estate’s scenic grouse moors with lovely views over heather and the Wharfe valley.
