Overview

We will walk through the Downs and past the Millenium Topograph before turning right onto Stone Rural BW61 then left onto Old Road, following the footpaths to Kneehole.

We then walk into Moddershall and stop off at the Boar Inn for elevenses, toilets and a tea/coffee shop.  Afterwards we follow the lanes and footpaths into Oulton to the Brushmakers Arms for a lunch stop.

We continue into Stone and across Common Plot before joining Mount Road and over the railway line on Whitebridge Lane.  We will then cut through and walk a short distance along the canal before crossing the lane and following a final footpath over fields before picking up Sandy Lane and Washdale Lane.  Finally we head back to Downs Banks, passing Coffee and Cones before arriving back at the car park
