Starting in Barton-Le-Street we proceed to Appleton-Le-Street then to Easthorpe. From here we head towards Bog hall for a view of the Temple and Mausoleum & then a lunch stop. Returning via a climb up to Conysthorpe Banks.

Park with consideration around the Green in Barton-le-Street. Easiest route is via A64 turn off and follow the Castle Howard signs. Then continue on the same road past the entrance to Castle Howard towards Slingsby. At the B1257 junction Turn right and Barton-le-street is about 1.5m on the left.
