A familiar walk to many, we will be walking to Ford Wood, along Ashwell Street before making our way to Wellhead Springs. These springs feed the brook in Bassingbourn. We walk past the Village College, crossing Brook Road and head towards the Mill, then make our way to Fen Road returning to the Belle via Guise Lane and Back Side path.
Paths are good, a little uneven in places and there is a little quiet lane walking.
The Belle Freehouse, 61 North End - We have permission to park in pub's car park if staying for a drink. There is also plenty of parking in Mill Lane and North End
