We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A circular walk through woods and pastures along forest tracks/trails, alongside the River Wye, and short sections on country lanes. (N.B. there is a lengthy climb back up to the top of the valley - steep in sections and a large tree trunk to climb over/go under).
Coffee & lunch breaks (packed lunch required).
This walk is graded Moderate+ (Ramblers Handbook) with a good level of fitness required due to length and hill climbs.

Beacon Hill Woodland Car Park. From Chepstow head towards Trellech along B4293, turning right on entering the Trellech village on the first bend and then immediately left onto the Llandogo Road, then taking first left (after 500yds) onto Beacon Road and continue until the car park is reached on your right side.
