Overview

We will gather at the Causey Tea Room car park before an 9 mile walk using good paths in Beamish Woods and some Tanfield and Causey footpaths. Streams, ponds and trains as well as deer and hare were spotted on the recce. Nice views along the way. Good footpaths all the way. There is a short sections of path walking next to a road and short section of on road walking on quiet road. There a few stiles - all in good repair.

The walk is a 9 mile circular walk with around 900 feet of incline.

We will stop for lunch around half way and no toilet facilities will be visited.
