A flat walk over varied terrain. Starting off on roads to Mardyke Valley, through the valley and under the M25. Through Aveley to lunch stop for sandwiches and Park Tavern pub. Afternoon spent in Belhus Park with two more crossings of the M25
There are two options for individuals to shorten the route to 5 miles and 7 miles for those who prefer not to do 9 miles. No mud on 23 July.
Impulse Leisure Car Park. From the recently renamed Lance Corporal Nicky Mason Way (B1335) to the north of Aveley, take Park Lane exit off the roundabout, follow this to the end and park in the Impulse Leisure car park for the swimming pool and golf course.
