Overview

Belmont is just east of Winter Hill and west of Ramsbottom and is within the area known as the West Pennine Moors. So our walks today could head west towards  Anglezarke and Winter Hill, or east and Darwen Moor. With the Witton Weavers Way close by, and the Turton and Entwistle Reservoirs not far away, The one thing that you can be sure of is some excellent moorland walking.
